MISSION
THE MISSION OF THE NELLIE MARSHALL D'RAY MINISTRIES ARE TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS; ASSISTANCE TO DISABLED VETERANS AND SERVICES FOR ADULTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS AND CHALLENGES.
Our Captain
Dr. Davis established the Nellie Marshall "D'Ray" Educational Scholarship in honor of his great-grandmother, the first black female business owner in Gilbert, Louisiana. He authored "Imagery-From Whence I Come," inspired by his grandmother, Miss Nellie. He is enshrined in the Wisner-Gilbert High School Alumni Hall of Fame and the Texas Council of Alpha Chapters Halt of Fame. He is the proud father of two daughters, Sharon and Dieatra, and the caretaker of his special needs brother Tony.
